Frequently Asked Questions

Raw contains bone. Is this safe for my dog to eat?

Yes in small amounts. Raw (uncooked) bone once digested is a great source of fibre.

We would never recommend doing this as most of are mixes contain 10% bone which once cooked could become brittle and splinter.

There are many schools of thought on this. We would say Gradually over a course of 7-10 days. Gradually reduce existing food and replace with same amount of raw untill you reach 100%.

The general guide is 2-3% of there expected body weight. Puppies up to 68 weeks will require more than this amount. Please feel free to email any Questions.

Kibble fed dogs generally have lower acidity levels in their stomachs, whereas raw fed dogs have higher acidity levels in their stomachs to digest the protein they are eating. Mixing the two may cause digestive problems in your pooch.

If you thaw it completely in the fridge then 3-5 days. If you thaw on the side counter then 2-3 days. This keeps the nutrients in tact.
